Apologies in advance. I have prepared a long essay as to why I love Chictopia:

There are no words to describe how much I adore Chictopia’s community. Every single minute of my day consists of frequent visits to Chictopia to indulge in up to date fashion from everyday people like myself. These aren’t high profiled actors and models who frequently grace the covers of fashion magazines. These are real people like me; college students, high school students, and everyday guys and gals who aspire to be a part of a community that is well respected in the fashion industry.

As far as why I love Chictopia, in one hand, the bloggers are an important foundation to the community. They are the ones who bring inspiration to the table and have inspired me one way or another. Prior to joining Chictopia, I was hesitant to join in fears of being rejected but boy was I wrong. The sincere comments that every blogger has left me on my Chictopia blog has inspired me more and more each day to continue to blog. On the other hand, Chictopia and it’s team are the epitome of amazing. Chictopia has given so much to the community and its reader, it’s amazing how so many Style Icons in this community have become trendsetters in the online world. Chictopia has given readers exposure in the fashion industry therefore turning the tables on an industry that was once ruled exclusively by those directly related to it. As consumers, what’s better than people who are like us to represent fashion. This sums up why I love the Chictopia community; the readers and those responsible for bringing us all together. All in all, both the bloggers (readers) and the Chictopia team would have to coexist in order to create a fashion community that I love and breathe.

When Chictopia announced their chictopia10 contest, I knew that I had to jump on such an amazing opportunity. To partake in such an event during New York Fashion Week is a dream come true. I’ve always loved fashion and have never been given an opportunity as big as this. I would be SO, SO honored to attend the summit in New York City to continue to enrich myself on how fashion blogging has changed the face of fashion. Without a doubt in my mind, Chictopia will continue to take fashion to a whole new level and to be a part of it is an amazing opportunity that I can not ignore!
