Today was a rainy day, which I HATE. This is what I wore, minus the raincoat.
Two tests and a quiz today – not fun: I had various Arashi music as sort of like a soundtrack in the back of my mind playing throughout the day as… motivational music, of sorts, haha. So tired, gonna go watch an ep of VS Arashi and then take a nap + eat dinner before starting on homework!
Although I tagged this entry as “chictopia10,” I really don’t mean to – this isn’t even one of my better outfits, and doesn’t display what I feel is my signature style of bright colors and mix of texture. I still think it’s an interesting topic though, so I’d love to share why I love Chictopia:
I came to Chictopia about a year ago, when I started reading blogs and had a small burst of interest in fashion, a huge change from my previous attitude of “I don’t give a crap of what other people judge how I dress” (although I still have a “don’t listen to the hataaaz” viewpoint, now it’s more of because I dress with more thought/detail, when people raise an eyebrow towards my far-from-typical style, I’m not phased, haha).
However, it wasn’t until the summer that I really started posting here and learning to understand fashion. Chictopia has been an invaluable tool for helping me create, change and inspire my outfits and hone my sense of style into something with substance. Interacting with members from all around the world is not only really cool to be able to tell my friends about, but also incredibly fun to learn about lives across the globe. Chictopia has been a source of entertaiment for me for the longest time, but my experience has gone even deeper than that: It really has changed my style for the better + I’ve met the coolest people from here!
