My Spring Collection 2010 is finally here!!! The whole collection is inspired by the evolution of my personal style. Also inspiration came from my odd obsession with Amanda Palmer and The Dresden Dolls, cupcakes, bike riding hipsters in SF, heroin punks, and the list goes on.I designed the collection in two segments. I like to call them ‘badass’ and ‘cupcake cute’. Looking at the collection you will see what I am talking about.
This outfit is a black tunic that can be worn as a dress, but I styled it as a top with a pink high waisted skirt, with a bow :). The zipper on the tunic is one of my favorite parts of the outfit. The fingerless gloves and biker shorts were inspired by all the fixed gear riding hipsters in SF. (I like to make fun of them from time to time, but I guess its not that funny anymore considering I work at American Apparel, which basically qualifies me as a hipster)
