This spring barely there clothes are in! We’re not talking going nude, but rather nude tones. Whether pale khaki or a blush pink, nude tones were seen all over the runways and will soon be hitting the stores.
Tips for wearing this look:
-find pieces with volume or texture, not only does this add visual interest but it will help keep you from looking naked
-if you feel “washed out” in nude tones look for them in accessories or wear it exclusively below the waist
-nude tone shoes will make your legs look super long!
-pair with brights (cherry red or cobalt blue) to make an ensemble really pop
Runway shots via Style.com, are from Donna Karan and Erin Wasson’s RVCA collection. Clearly nude tones can run the gamut from classy to edgy.
Street fashion shots here are from the Sartorialist and Facehunter and again show nude tones in greatly varying styles.
Chictopians wearing nude tones already: Joelle and GogoSushi.
