Shoe Lust

Okay, so I personally think that the recent shoe trend (cut out booties, strappy booties, thigh-high boots, banded wedges, ann demuelemeester-style avant-garde pieces) is kinda overwhelming – I can’t imagine myself wearing it; they seem just TOO trendy.

So once in a while, to cleanse my palate, I look at past season shoes.

And Behold.

Just LOOK at these shoes – classic shape, but with an amazing twist – it’s classy, but the jeweled snake adds a bit of a voyeuristic taste for those who think black satin pumps might be a bit blah.

I don’t think these are in production anymore (these were ‘04? ’05?) but it’s the kind of shoes that scream taste with a glimpse of irresistable sex appeal.
