Luckily I got some shots of this outfit that I wore to go shopping on Saturday, the day before the rain came. Today the clouds were crazy sad and just kept on crying with hardly a dry moment at all. It should start up again soon and continue well into this week, so I better get used it. Well, until tomorrow night when I hop on a plane and am out of here! On Saturday I wore one of my most cherished vintage blazers. It’s a classic piece, but the print brings me out of my basic black blazer rut. With a blazer like this, it is wise to keep everything else simple and easy. I still had my fun by pairing my blue hued jeans with bright red lips for a quirky pop of color. Meg Ryan’s character from When Harry Met Sally (one of my all-time favorite movies) would so sport this blazer for an autumn stroll in New York City’s Central Park. It’s masculine feel kind of reminds me of that character, but for some reason I feel a little more Old Hollywood in it right here. I think it is because of my hairstyle and lips. This just goes to say that this jacket can be worn in so many more ways than one.
