Hello everyone! How has your week been so far? Impeccable I hope! Here I am showing off my first blog giveaway win! I wore it out last week for a day of errand running. This splattered circle scarf was handmade by Michelle from the blog Glisters and Blisters over at Blogspot. She makes awesome DIYs, and I was so lucky to have won her giveaway because I did not have a circle scarf yet, and the color of this one fits in perfectly with my wardrobe. I wanted to experiment with it as soon as it arrived! I love to wear it simply like this, just hanging naturally around my neck. But I also thought it looked really cool over my head. It gives the look sort of an ethnic vibe that I am really digging. There are so many ways to wear this scarf, and it is very lightweight so I can bring it with me on my trip to Malaysia. In other fashion-related new, I went shopping yesterday! Bought my dad two pairs of nice black slim cut jeans. My dad always relies on us girls to pick out the pieces he should wear. He says he wants to stay hip. How cool is that? I also picked up a pretty black floral dress at the Zara sale for myself, as well as the most perfect polka dotted mini dress while thrifting. It was a Saturday well spent. There is a big storm heading our way and there is supposed to be torrential rain all next week, so I must enjoy the California sunshine as much as I can while it is still here! Now I am off to finish packing.
