My boyfriend's about the size of the last guy and he loves his charcoal grey jeans! He doesn't wear skinny jeans but his jeans are very slim since he's so skinny. Same w/ his dress pants! It's so hard shopping for him though...there aren't a lot of places that carry clothes can can wear w/o alteration.
Yes, thats a good fit! I think people forget there are different variations of slim/ skinny.
see i feel that the skinny jean looks great on guys with a smaller build. my boyfriend is pretty big with broad shoulders (which is great for blazers) but day to day he can't really do much other than a funky tshirt/polo. we tried a cardigan and it looked ridiculous. maybe a "how to dress a bigger guy"? seriously, i'm stumped! hehehe

my bf is mr polo/brooks brothers/jcrew/lacoste. Polos look good on him, but im getting sick of it. i guess its his "thing?"...but how do i get him to get some pants like the 5th picture...dreamy.

I agree with Jilie. Skinny only looks good on certain people. The important thing is to dress for your body shape.

Rumi and I were discussing her dilemma of having to dress her boyfriend. She said that part of the problem was that she didn’t really know HOW to dress a man – where to begin?
Do you ever look at your boyfriend and go… “man, why don’t you dress better? Why don’t you look as good as ME?” Because I do… to other people’s boyfriends ALL THE TIME.
I put together some of my favorite and more easy to understand casual looks for men on here. And a few tips:
Black jeans can do wonders – You can either go super slim like the beef or a more relaxed rocker fit like ejay but either way, “dis look pretty gooood.”
Easing your way in – If your boy is none too comfortable taking the skinny jean, combat boot, Ann D./ Rick Owens hardcore fashion-head route. Easing their way into looking better via some nice shades like thatsit, an attractive carryall like zainalafnan, and some basic layering like mrclick can be another option. Everybody needs to start somewhere.
The slimmer the better – Men like to argue this point with me a lot. I win, always. The best way to appear slimmer is to wear pants that sit closer to the body. Having big ass pants doesn’t mean you have a big penis. Come on, now.
