there are days when you want to wear more than one statement-making piece and the key in pulling this off is all in the execution.
keep the base of your look simple by paying attention to colors, textures and proportions or else you will be lost amongst the competition within your own outfit.
the colors of my strong pieces (sunglasses, hooded sweatshirt and cutout sandals—who said they’re only for girls!) are similar so that the details in design are what stand out. to finish i wore skinny pants and used a canvas tote.
this reasoning is more my style, so if you’re bolder and can work it like Björk, then by all means pile on the feathers, face paint, unidentifiable objects and colors!
and hey, this fall the mix-n-match trend might be even stronger, growing past skinny jeans and oversize tees into contrasting prints and rough layering, but it doesn’t mean you should ditch the solids and shoot for Pucci and plaid. this is the part where you go from runway to real-way, keeping the good part of the idea (new, interesting shapes and styling with different levels) and leave the rest (flowers with stripes and human hair with plastic tubes) to the professionals.
happy dressing!

I love your singlasses :)
