Another new purchase makes its debut. Accompanying my Devoa scarf in the bag I got from The Archive is this awesome cardigan from Juliu’s fall 2009 collection. Blended from a ridiculous assortment of fabrics (angora, cashmere, cotton, and wool), the devil’s really in the details. I had on a dark gray top when I tried it on in store, but now that I’ve got something light underneath, I’m absolutely in love. Despite being in the thick of winter, the weather’s been holding up pretty nicely, so I haven’t had to pile on the layers too much. Good thing, too, because too much bulk underneath the cardigan would ruin the nice sleek shape it has.
Hopefully it won’t rain, but if it does, I’m prepared. The Marc Jacobs boots I scored (on a 75% discount!) have a nice thick crepe rubber sole. So while they look like a super stylish, formal boot, they basically feel like bedroom slippers. And with a rubber sole, I can stomp around in as many puddles as I like without worrying around ruining the sole.
Here’s to staying warm, staying dry, and staying well-dressed no matter what.

i LOVE the cardigan! the wrist details are amazing! love the skinnies too :)
