I am so in love with this! I'm a beginner diy girl so do you mind telling me how you did the top? Like, putting the shoulder pads as the cups and attaching it all. haha, yesss. I think you should make a tute on this, it's so awesome :)

you should also have a stock of zippers, because most vintage materials, are not strech, so just try it out with fitting and placement, its actually realy easy, but something you have to figure out for yourself and your body shape.

hello, and I'm so glad that your going to be doing diy stuff, very smart girl :] well its actually really simple, shoulder pads, if you look at them are already shaped like cup, but depending on the size of your breasts, if you have bigger breasts, this look probably wont work, but if you are a A-B, then it would be perfect! its alot of trial and error, and getting things to fit right

thankyou! and its easy, cut out two thin rectangle peices of fabric, (as long as you want them) sew them together, and then get a big-ish saftey pin, pull it through on the inside, makeing it go right side out, until you get to the end, ha ha maybe i should do a tutorial on this sort of thing!

it really isent that hard! just take a few classes, or if anything look it up on the internet, there is so much useful info on sewing on the internet, i wouldnt be suprised if you could learn everything from it. I hope that you do something one day! and thankyou ;]

Hello everyone! so this is something I altered in the summer that I was really proud of! I’ll attache a before picture bellow, basically I fitted it, and I pleated it at the sides to give a small waist effect, and I took the shoulder pads and I made them into cups for the dress! I also had to make the straps and put in a zipper at the back. tell me what you think!
