I finally found the perfect thing to fulfill my desire for polka dots in the form of this little dress. It’s a unique piece because it’s two pieces that you can wear separate or layered on top of each other like I am here. With its dark navy color, I can channel Minnie Mouse in a way that is more Fashionland than Disneyland. I threw on these sparkly tights that I randomly found at Ross for $2 while I was looking for fuzzy socks to wear to bed! Great fun :)
Every time I wear this beanie I am reminded of the Alexander Wang F/W 2008 collection. That collection really had a fashion moment that I still think about today. Every since its debut, I couldn’t stop thinking about slouchy distressed denim, rips and tears, and leather made for a downtown vixen who likes to play tough. My shredded beanie always adds a bit of a grungy boyish factor that is so me because I never feel right when I look and feel too girly.

I finally got to see The Lovely Bones last night! It’s not out in all theaters yet, only a select few right now. There have been both good and bad reviews, but I loved it! Of course, nothing compares to the book, but I really felt that director Peter Jackson captured the original novel’s essence in a beautiful and magnifying way. It was dark, it was bright, it was everything in between. A visually stunning movie. I had chills the entire time through. Also, it was very suspenseful just as the trailer promised, keeping you on the tip of your seat. I want to see it again, but now I also want to read the book again.
