Remember when I said that I would take a little break from blazers? Well, I lied! They are my most favorite things ever. I wear them with nearly everything. So you will still see a lot of them on this blog. Well, at least until the summer when they will go into hibernation because of the 100 degree weather. I like this gray one a lot because it has more of a masculine, boxy shape that balances out the ruffles on my blouse. These are also one of my favorite pairs of sunglasses. My mom has the same pair that my sister wore here. We both fell in love with them because they have that nice oversize shape that we want without looking too much like a bug. These have more of an Old Hollywood feel about them with their shiny thick frames. I always feel so glamorous in them. All of my other sunglasses are either vintage or Forever 21. But these babies are special and require much more looking after. If I lost this pair or crushed them, I don’t know what I would do!
Eeek! I still cannot believe that it is a new year. I always love the feeling of a fresh start and the idea of endless possibilities up ahead. I want to take 2010 by storm and do as many new things as possible. I want to savor every moment. One thing that I need to do less of this year is shop. I feel like I have been doing way too much of this last month because of all the sales. Also, I am pretty much tired of all the same things I keep seeing at the mall. I need a little break from fashion consumption (for my health and my pocket), but I am not sure how long this will last. To change things up a bit in my life fashion-wise, I am working on a DIY project. I have started making a bunch of turban-like headbands from textured tights that I have not been wearing. This is a result of my obsession with chic headgear. It’s really easy and fun. I’ll show you the results soon!
P.S.
I received my new dress from StyleStalker. The one I chose was absolutely beautiful! I cannot wait to showcase it here soon! Head over to their website right now. They have the most amazing body-conscious dresses. Everything is 50% off, too!
Also, for those who asked about what camera I use – I use a plain old SONY Cybershot. It takes surprisingly good pictures and I am always happy with the results. But one thing that I am hoping to get soon is a new camera with higher resolution.
