I wore this last night to a wonderful party! I took these prior to leaving my house. Mostly because I wasn’t all that sure how many photos I would be taking throughout the night, as well as how many (good) photos of me would be taken. I was listening to ELO, and I kid you not, this must be my favorite record! I cannot stop playing it over and over.
I was bittersweet about the night, as I did not really know what was going on. I just stuck with my friends and rolled with the punches, so to speak. All the arrangements went flawlessly. :) Although, my boyfriend and I both happened to fall asleep on the same couch, leading to a restless night. We woke up periodically every hour or so! Everntually, we decided to just go get breakfast and sleep in our own beds. Much better.
This dress really popped for me when I first saw it. I thought of old Hollywood with the sequin burst on the shoulder. But I don’t dare call it vintage! And these shoes, oh I think I have certainly got my money’s worth. I never want to take them off. My darling boyfriend bought that bracelet for me as a Christmas gift. It’s a charming white leaf. Oh, I love it! And the leather jacket I have just been dying to post! I picked it out several months ago from Express but had to wait until Christmas to get it. I cannot lie, It was worth it. I’ve been getting nonstop compliments.
I dearly hope 2010 has been so far and will be as wonderful for you as it has been for me.
