It has been ages, and ages since I’ve posted. Or just a few weeks. But I’ve missed you guys dearly. The holidays are busy for me, and I broke my camera. Fortunately my father bought me a Nikon D3000 for Christmas. He was just as excited as I was, because back in the day, he was a photographer. He gave me the tripod that he used when he toured Japan, which for some reason made me feel special. I remember being a young young girl and looking at his cameras. I was so facinated! Anyway, he thought this would be a good “beginner’s camera”, to use throughout college. Although, I don’t photograph well in pictures, as you can clearly see. I’m rambling, and going off on quite a tangent. My point is, I have a new camera, so I’m back!
I can’t lie though, this was taken about a week and a half ago, prior to any snow. I took it on my father’s camera, and haven’t found the time to put it up. I like to take a lot of time taking photos, but then I run out of time to actually put them up. Am I the only one? This dress is so short, but then again, it’s not as short as the pictures make it out to be. I think my shoes and tights disguise how stubby my legs really are, making it look as if the dress comes to about my hips. I assure you, it does not! I am not a victom of the tights-as-pants epidemic. My bum is comvered completely, with room to spare.
By the way, I changed my scarf for the other photos. The red one just wasn’t cutting it for me, and thus a warmer scarf was much required.
On a final note, I have actually been creeping a bit with Chictopia’s app. So I haven’t missed a single fabulous ensemble!
