Hi HIII there everyone!! Man, it has been QUITE a while since my last post. Sad day. Just got busy with school, finals, family, new job, and basically bumming it around so nothing that interesting outfit-wise. Blegh. Haha…
Hope you all had a great Christmas! I’m counting mine as a success, not onnnnly did I manage to avoid that dreaded holiday weight gain (somehow), but I got some $$ for H&M shopping, whiiich I have already spent and some other random things like: an herb garden, bottle of wine, faux fur collar/scarf, ooh my Armani Code perfume set (love!), and some other things. Santa was quite generous. ;)
I went home for about a week, then came back to start job training for my new prom sales consultant job! So psyched. My first day is Saturday and I cannooooot wait. Monday, my five hours of training consisted of about 2 hours of (essentially) playing dress-up. I had on this HUGE ballgown…..see it HERE and did some modeling which was completely ridiculous but rather fun.
Today I played stylist for my friend who was tired of her “Mom wardrobe.” I went over to her house the other night to empty out her closet full of 90% Loft, 5% Eddie Bauer, and 5% random high school/middle school junk, and sent about 80% of it to Goodwill or somewhere. She had $500-$600 to spend on revamping this wardrobe so this was like the shopping spree I’ve never taken..getting to spend all this money on cute clothes (heck, who cares if it wasn’t for me…well, I suppose I did cheat a bit and grab a new silk blouse, black vest, and white top…whatev..I deserved it? hahah). We went to the mall at 10am, spent the first 2.5 hours and $200 at H&M and then another $300 and 2 hours throughout the mall. It was TOO much fun…I felt like Stacy London from TLC’s What Not to Wear. Haha. Dream job. Dress people. Overall, fabulous day.
