Buhh I’m a little discouraged because it looks like my last two blog posts have been deleted from the style gallery. C’est la vie! Assuming it was the sub par composition of my indoor photos (because I seemed to otherwise have pretty good feedback!) I decided to take my tripod outside and try some photos in the dark winter sun. The success of that is debatable because of the unavoidable long shadows and the fact that living in a swamp does not make for a very pretty backdrop.
All I have to say is: brrr! It’s 45 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and to a native southern girl, that’s like Arctic conditions. So while my tights and socks kept my legs warm, my arms had goosebumps! But I really wanted to show off this outfit without the coat.
The headpiece is homemade by moi out of fake flowers. I get mixed reactions when I wear it out, ranging from suspicious curiosity to compliments, hahaha. But I like it, and I guess that’s what counts.
Anyway, I hope you’re all relaxing and recovering from Christmas. Thank you all for your continued support and comments, as well as the advice about the watch in my last post. It’s because of you that I sally forth and continue posting!
