I cannot believe Christmas day is over! I hope Christmas was special for all you you and I wish more marvelous days to come :)
Now, onto some more fun stuff. I was so excited to be contacted by American Eagle Outfitters for a blogger collaboration! Check out the American Eagle Outfitters blog, The AE Scene. The wonderful Daniel sent me over some beautiful and versatile pieces that my closet was just craving! This wool military jacket is the perfect addition to my wardrobe. I will never get enough of the military trend. The simple color makes this jacket easy to wear with all of my tops and dresses, and its cropped length let’s a cool pattern peak out from underneath. Plaid is a staple pattern that comes back season after season. The toughness reflects the tomboy in me, but when I pair it with a sharp jacket and girly polka dotted tights, I can also bring out my more chic and feminine side. I felt like pulling the collar of the shirt out over the jacket to create more contrast – a quirky little touch that made me feel like a fashionable little schoolgirl. It’s amazing how different these pieces are, but how wonderfully they all go together in one outfit! Thank you American Eagle Outfitters for letting me test-drive these beautiful clothes from their holiday collection!
It was so windy the day I wore this out and snapped these pics, but I was lucky to find a few shots where my hair wasn’t flying in my face. I really love how the red of the flannel stands out. Bright bursts of color is fearless and exciting!
