Pride and Prejudice

Thanks to reading Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice during my English class this semester, I’m hooked on European historical romances and obsessed with just about everything dealing with England. I wish I lived there. I wish I had the British accent. I wish I had that eclectic style. Also thanks to P&P, I’ve developed an extreme liking towards the more romantic style of clothes. Chiffon, flowers, braids, anything girlish and soft I’m just in love with. Now I know that this outfit fits into none of those categories, as it is very mod-looking. But this morning for Christmas I got a chunky book full of every novel Jane Austen has written and the movie Pride and Prejudice. I couldn’t be happier! I apologize for that tangent, but I’m just so excited that my parents decided to indulge me in my mini obession.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas! This will be my last post for a few days as I will be venturing out into snow and ice to make a four hour journey to visit some more family. Wish me luck!
