Christmas eve dinner is always a special occasion. I love dressing up and spending time with my family on this day. We had the usual dinner and drinks and it was so much fun even if most of us were sick. I did miss my sister so much though! Had my much awaited Foie Gras which i took 3 bites from and gave up. I’m doing this whole ‘I taste my food’ thing rather than stuff it all up. It’s so much more fun that way since I totally got to experience my food without being overly full.
Anyway, this dress is something I designed for GLITTERATI which we’ll be releasing in the next year (January/ February 2010). It has the classic Midas touch and a grecian silhouette which i totally love. It also had a low cut back detail (not shown in photo) which made it sooooo perfect for Christmas Eve 2009. I felt mighty Aphrodite/ goddess-ish in this dress and I had such a painful time removing it…if only i can wear it everyday!!! I loved looking like a million bucks in an all gold ensemble.
Officially need to find an occasion/ make an occasion to get to wear this again.
Wore a side ponytail to match the dress’ extravagance with a simpler hairstyle.
