I braced the torrential rain on Saturday and headed over to the Revolve x Lookbook party at the Revolve store in West Hollywood. The store really was beautiful in a modern and minimalistic way, and all the clothes were just amazing! I wanted absolutely everything. Sadly, we didn’t take any pictures because I thought my sister brought the camera, but she thought I brought the camera. So we ended up with no camera! That’s me being a bad blogger. But I did get to meet the Revolve crew, who were all so nice and were fans of my blog, which was lovely to know. I got to meet Tiffany from the blog Tuolomee. She is so sweet and has a lovely feminine style. My sister and I also met up with fellow blogger Anna from the blog BU The Right Thing. She is a model from Germany and has such an awesome eclectic fashion sense made up of mostly vintage finds. I really want to go shopping with her someday before she goes back to Germany. She has amazing taste.
This is what I wore to the party on Saturday, but I took these pictures yesterday morning because the sun was finally shining. I was in a bit of a rock and roll mood, but I also wanted to be comfortable and warm because it was raining to so hard! I was wearing my new boots that I love so much. They are the perfect everyday boot, a little early Christmas present for myself. I basically wore this same outfit yesterday to do some more Christmas shopping in Orange County. The mall was packed with holiday shoppers. I literally felt like a sardine in a can. It was pretty crazy, but it just added to the festivity. The mall was decorated so nicely with sparkly trinkets, velvety carpets, lots of red, green, and gold, carolers, and a Christmas tree fit for a giant. I give myself a round of applause because I did not make a single purchase for myself. Now that takes integrity! The day ended with a big Mexican dinner to fulfill that appetite that shopping is known to create.
How was your weekend?
