Ohh, my first post on Chictopia!
I’ve been lurking for a few days and finally decided it was time for me to get over my whole shyness thing. This is the outfit I wore for my last day of classes this semester (not including finals, boo hiss), and as you can see, it’s very gross outside. With this sort of weather, there are not many photogenic places around my house to take pictures. Also, if anyone has any tips to help make my photos better let me know! I don’t have a tripod, and was lucky to find someone to snag this picture for me today. I have no idea what sort of style I would call this outfit; I feel like it’s a mix of things. Thoughts?

A bit about me, I suppose? That seems fitting since it’s my first post.
I’m an undergraduate student in Louisiana; I’m studying Italian, French, and political science. I’m at a liberal arts school in my hometown this semester, but will be transferring back to the larger university I attended my freshman year next semester. Finances have been a bit rough on me, but on the bright side, it has reintroduced me to my love of thrift shopping! I refuse to let the rough economy make me dress dowdy!!

On another note, these are pretty much my favorite shoes. They are Salvatore Ferragamo and I found them at Goodwill when I was in the 7th grade for around $2 or $3… and they’ve lasted me all these years! I will be taking them to the cobbler for the first time this weekend to patch up the sole, sigh.
