I only own two coats. When one lives in a place where it is over 80 degrees Farenheit most days of the year, there really is not need for more. My Yves Saint Laurent coat is my love, but while I was organizing my closet this weekend, I came across this one that I got at the Gap a while ago. I really do not wear this one often enough. I was instantly reminded of Burberry because of its classic shape and woolly texture. But what most drove me to put it on was its forest green color. I love deep, dark, earthy tones, and this color is a nice change from all the black, grays, and nudes one usually finds on a coat. I am so happy that I rediscovered this piece. And it keeps me so warm without weighing me down. I am dancing in my boots!
The skies are gray and it’s been raining nonstop since last night. This may mean outfit pictures will have to be taken inside. Maybe if I stand by a window I can get some good shots? It was actually a very nice day yesterday during the early day and I did end up going to Six Flags! We hit up most of the big rides in under 4 hours since there were no lines at all. We rode the X2 roller coaster twice (the best ride ever if you like twisting and turning upside down at unimaginable speed), and finally went on the new Terminator Salvation ride. I love all this crazy roller coaster madness. I can ride them for days. I should probably join one of those roller coaster fanatic clubs.
