I think this outfit was a nice way to bring some spring to this cold-but-snowless month.

there was a feature in November’s Vogue on florals and plaid, and I really wanted to try it. I liked how the shirt and dress had the same colours, and that the belt could tie it all together. this is the result! I really like it, I hope you do too!

wore it for a day-about-town to do a little Christmas shopping and see a movie. we watched Everybody’s Fine because I thought it would put me in a Christmasy mood…well, it’s not really about Christmas, but I actually really liked the movie. I thought it was very sweet. I seem to be liking every movie I see lately, maybe the holiday season approaching is making me soft.

it was a great day.
