By now, you’d have probably heard that Zac Posen is next in line to do a GO International collection for Target. But that doesn’t mean we at EverybodyIsUgly can’t still express our overwhelming delight about it.
The fashion wunderkind and Parsons/Central Saint Martins (because, I mean, why not do both right?) alum began his line just seven years ago at the age of 21, when most of us are doing keg stands in our friends’ living room. Since then, he’s become a favorite among celebrities and fashionistas including, most notably, Naomi Campbell and P.Diddy. Posen’s remarkable aesthetic and success earned him the 2004 Swarovski Perry Ellis Award for Womenswear from the CFDA. Not too shabby, huh?
In what seems to be the mark of success for any well-established designer, Zac Posen created a capsule collection for none other than Target Australia. The line, full of feminine frocks and Posen’s signature 40s flair was a success. Needless to say, its about time Posen’s line came stateside for us to enjoy!
The line hits Targets across America and Target.com on April 25, 2010 until May 30, 2010.
