I used to hate tulle when I was a kid. It reminded me of those tacky wedding veils (I hate most wedding dresses/veils/cakes/etc), and the incredibly uncomfortable ballet costumes I had to wear for performances. But I love this vintage tulle skirt! It’s not the stiff tulle you associate with tutus and Viktor & Rolf S/S ‘10 (which made me reconsider stiff tulle), it’s the sort of supersoft tulle that falls beautifully a la Rodarte. I really need to figure out where to buy some, because, although I’m pretty much the worst seamstress ever, I’d definitely be willing to play around with soft tulle.
