yesterday we were brunching for like 3 hours in a local cafe, great food and great conversation, and after the brunch went for a stroll and a photoshoot.
i found this grey short square sweater in Vero Moda the other day, it was shoved into lower shelves, and the shape totally didn’t show, but i fished it out because of my fave grey colour. i got in oversize for more bohemian and chunky look, for some reason lately i’ve been very much into oversize, it just makes the styling several decibel louder :)
it has amazing shape and is totally perfect for great layering. i cant wait to wear it over the shirts, long t-shirts and dresses, and maybe wear with shorts.
but yesterday i wanted to try this combo with my sun-dress from H&M which i bought some years ago, and the skirt from Miss Selfridge which I brought from the UK even before.
i was inspired by the autumny/wintery subdued colours, layering and voluminous shapes which are so typical for Japanese aesthetics, and together the three items had exactly the effect that i wanted – very fluffy and chunky and swaying. it shows best on the twisting pictures :)
to finish off the look i wore lacy cream tights, tall brown boots, a brown coat and some accessories.
