I loved it from the moment I saw it, the luxe-goth appeal and the rich, semi victorian-pirate look it gave you. I spotted a simpler silver version at pimkie and after I got the chains tangled up (looks cooler that way), I was overjoyed at how it looked: the perfect accessory to spice up a simple outfit. Since the original look was very heavy and full on, I tried to make it a bit more “me” by ditching a bit of black for a bit of grey, but keeping the rock attitude. Okey, the end result doesn’t actually look anything like the original anymore, but maybe that’s a good thing: if you like playing around with style, you don’t copy, you make something you liked on somebody else your own. And somehow, by pairing the eye-catching necklace with other eyecatchers, like these ankleboots and the special tights, it blends into the outfit instead of sticking out. You like?
