I hope that all of you who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful time! I just got back from out of town with family. It was so nice just kicking back and enjoying the holiday spirit outside of blogger-land. The past three days were full of eating, talking, shopping, and watching late-night The George Lopez Show reruns (the best show ever), but it’s so nice to come home to find a bunch of lovely comments on here. I wish I could have bought out the entire Barney store, but I did do some fabulous shopping elsewhere. The sales weren’t that great, but I did get really lucky at Bebe and went crazy with the silk tanks and skinny trousers they had for only $10!
Here is an outfit that I wore on Wednesday. This is my favorite vintage Italian wool cardigan. I think the knitted details around the pockets and bell-sleeves are so unique. It’s hard to find 100% virgin wool today within my price-range, and nothing is better quality than vintage wools. There is a craftsmanship about this one that’s just so romantic. And here’s the back of this H&M dress that I wore before for a blog post. The corset-like lacing is a sexy little touch that’s so much easier to wear than those whale bone corsets from centuries ago.
Aren’t autumn leaves delightful? I’m glad I got to pose with them before they all fell to the ground.
Have a nice rest of your weekend <3
