Sometimes, when I can’t pick an appropriate title for my posts (because I often just take pictures of myself in 98309434 different outfits just for fun and never manage to get to posting them) I frequently get a song stuck in my head that reminds me of what I’m wearing.
For this entire week, though, I was constantly in a jeans and t-shirt and sweatshirt ensemble because I had much work to do! Juggling my A.P classes, finishing up my college applications (and can you believe that I applied to Harvard as a joke? What a waste of money right? Well, at least I’ll be able to frame their rejection letter when it comes!), and working on our high school yearbook tirelessly, I finally have time for myself.
I love this dress. It’s a summer staple, though, it’s a bit short so I always wear bicycle shorts underneath. AH, I hate my legs. They’re so muscular. This is what I get for being captain of the track team, don’t I?
The weather here in N.Y.C isn’t too great, but it’s fall and it’s quite beautiful outside, even if I do have to sweep up leaves on the sidewalk. I originally wore black tights with this outfit, but it contrasted horribly with the white Marc Jacobs leather jacket my mother bought me! I love it. It’s so absolutely soft and versatile and I love the box shape and the rounded buttons. It’s a surprise, actually, considering that I was actually adamant about only wanting a black or brown leather jacket for this season! Plus, unlike my mother, I’m not a very big follower of designer labels. I have to say, though, I really absolutely do love this jacket. I’ll wear it another day with it buttoned up!
And please excuse my closet (which is just one of many!) for being so untidy. It’s filled to the brim, despite being 4 feet deep and having two (I KNOW!) racks. AND I have to apologize about how my picture is tilted. It’s a timer and I had to hang it on the clothes hook because my table isn’t tall enough. I have to find my dad’s old tripod or I’ll never survive!
