It was so cold, which was really weird, and all I wanted to do was wrap up in something along the lines of a woolly blanket. I had to bust out my leopard sweater because it is like my favorite thing right now. I really adore layers over layers over layers this season reminiscent of Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 show, but in more neutral and minimalistic colors schemes. When it’s really cold out, comfort and warmth comes before anything else, but there are always ways to make things look and feel chic. The chill factor is slightly increasing day by day. It makes me want to live in a log cabin in Tahoe, Nevada and drink hot chocolate with floating little marshmallows by a real log fire. I am dreaming.
Did a little shopping yesterday afternoon on my day off. Picked up a few lovely things that I cannot wait to wear. Also, our mall has opened up a new outdoor shopping center that’s supposedly the local “Americana” or “The Grove”. I’ll have to go see what the fuss is all about.
I was shocked when I heard the news of her death. She was becoming a huge star in the modeling world. She was so unique and had a beautiful soul and personality. My heart goes out to her friends and family. She will be dearly missed.
