This is very cute! I understand where you are coming from, my town is the same way, everyone dresses the same! really love this look, i think that all of the neutral hues go well together and that the white top contrasts well w/ the other dark pieces. about bargain shopping- i actually am like the queen of clearance! check the stores where you live if they have clearance racks. i hear thrift stores are fantastic places to get vintage pieces (and that vintage pieces are often made very high quality)!
