i love the plaid dress! i think the structure of it takes away from the grungy feel. grunge inspired, not grungy.

Thanks, I'm not sure I could pull off an entirely grungy look!

Oh how I love chucks and chuck-ish shoes! I wanted that dress shirt thing so bad in the white version from UO but never got it, because I'm poor as heck! You look funky and lovely and fun. Where do you live now?

Hee-hee, I tried on the white version, but got this instead--it was a birthday present b/c I find UO expensive as well! Oh and I'm in Fort Lewis, WA just to spend some time with my parents, college is still in PA for me.

It's nice for a change. I'm usually so "dainty" with ballet flats, so Converse edge me up a bit--really they go better with my sarcasm. ^_^

Ha-ha, I know there is no structure for your foot and they aren't flattering to the leg, but they hold some strange appeal and hypnosis over me...

i've been trying to figure out how to rock a plaid jumper without looking like a school girl. grungy shoes are definitely the way to go.

lol. i'm a veteran of six years at an all girl's school, and I wore uniforms from kindergarten through my senior year. the jumper in question is actually one from the elementary school i went to.

Ha-ha, ironically these are the "black shoes" I purchased in highschool for the year I spent at a private Catholic all girls' school with a uniform...I was a bit of a rebel and even doodled on them. They definitely subversified the sailor uniform.

Comfortable Style, best suited for a Everyday
Aug 19, 2008

This is what I wore for the plane flight to WA. I swear I’m not trying to channel the grunge era with plaid and converse, but it does seem to coming out in me. Maybe it’s subconscious or maybe it is just a natural reaction to rain and cooler weather…
