Bland day…basically sitting around working on TONS of work. Had to throw this on to go to campus for a group meeting. Oooh the joys of groupwork….(please, sense the sarcasm).

Random reasons today was not so hot….

Numero 1: Get back peer evaluation from my essay I worked on for about 8-10 hours annnd what’s it say? Hmmm basically, that I sucked and was hard to follow. Right. Ok. Gave me an 85/100. I was like, uuummm no? Get my professor’s evaluation of my paper and she says “construction, organization and flow was excellent!” Alrighty then. My peer is an idiot. Sorry, that was upsetting. I was severely miffed for about 10-15 minutes.

Numero 2: Walk a mile to the library downtown perpetually doing 180s checking for sketchy men (we have a lot of sketchy folk who live downtown)…make it to the library, realize the library has become the homeless hangout and while I have nothing against the homeless, I certainly don’t enjoy being gawked at by the three homeless men sitting on the third floor and by the man who comes into the magazine aisle just to ask me “How YOU doin’ today?” …..yeah, ummm awkward. So anyway, I get my stuff (some InStyle’s, Glamour mags, a couple books) and make my way downstairs to check out. Upoooon scanning the first book, a screen pops up to tell me I owe $6. I have $0. Fabulous. I ask the lady if I can still check out my stuff. First, she says they don’t loan out magazines. Great. Thanks for nothing. And, to top it off, no, she says,I cannot check out my books. Yay, I’ve just walked a mile through bum-infested streets for nothing. And now, I get to do it all again. Next time, I will drive. Geeeeeeeez.

Numero 3: You know those people who never have time to text you back or respond to your Facebook messages or e-mails, but then expect you to jump all over the stuff they send you and get right back to them..those people who “collect” friends instead of actually work to maintain REAL friendships? Psh, yeah, I’m dealing with a couple of those right now. It’s rather bothersome.
