I wore this super casual outfit when I ran errands a couple of days ago. I love how the color of my bag pops out & I’ve received a lot of comments about it from passers-by. It’s so roomy I could fit a whole lot of stuff in it. I also love the jeans I’m wearing, I love, love, JBrand jeans. This is one of my faves and it is a perfect, snug fit for me, I would highly recommend it!
I have this obsession with brightly coloured, jewel-toned bags.
I’ve had this love affair with handbags in ever since I saw a stash of my mum’s vintage Guccis & Dior flap bags that were neatly stacked in her closet. So, with no formal knowledge about designer brands or what not, I would just pick a random chain bag and bring it to school- ah yes, the glory days of gradeschool. My schoolmates would think it was pretty fancy & we would always play dress-up during playtime.
Anyways, I happen to stumble upon this brightly coloured bag at my local Ross, and it was a whooping $24, so I said, why NOT? This colour makes me happy! It was, however, not made with leather. If you knew me too well, you would know that I happen to love all forms of leather (lambskin, etc, you name it). And once every two weeks, I would make it a point to gather up all my leather goods and take out my leather wipes, conditioners and spray (hubby calls me the leather police) to inspect scuffs, stains and grains and give them all a good clean sheen.
I am currently planning to ressurect my old blog from highschool, but this time I’d like to share a tip or two about bargain hunting because after all, who doesn’t love a great BARGAIN?? :) I’d also post some useful information on how to store bags, clean leather, how to find the perfect pair of jeans, etc, that would be helpful for all you lovely ladies out there. Message/comment me if you would like to share more ideas with me and I’d like to hear from you. :) Hope you stay tuned & thanks for all the lovely comments!
