I would have added this post a week earlier had I not caught swine flu, lol. I’m much better now.
Before I had swine flu, I had midterms, which is why I haven’t been on Chictopia for sooo long. A bunch of stuff has happened since then.
I’m learning how to knit!! Yes! I’m so inspired by my Chictopia buddies’ DIY skillz that I’ve decided to try knitting. I can’t knit too well: the scarf I have on my hand is becoming parabolic rather than rectangular, like a normal scarf. I decided to stop knitting it until after I meet up with my knitting group to ask for help so that I don’t waste any more yarn on the parabolic scarf.
I’ve landed a few (volunteer) design jobs with various student groups. If I get the chance, I might posts some of the advertisements and T-shirts I designed in my next post. I’m really thinking of apply to design school.
Boxing Day is coming up, and I’m so stoked to get new, cheap clothes! I really only shop once a year. I’ll be doing some extra stalking on Chictopia, Lookbook, Polyvore, and other sites to get ideas on what to buy. It would be hot if you could suggest to me what sort of things I should get!
I might not always have time to get my BFF to take photos of me and do a formal Chictopia entry, but I often update my Emo Biochemist blog !
