She's Like An Accordian.

I just purchased both this blazer and little satin dress; from Cliche Boutique by my house (BB Dakota brand) and from the Modcloth website, respectively. I’ve never really rocked a blazer (except with my high school uniform!) before, but I’m loving this!

The dress is so sweet, but a little short! The color is so rich and pulls you in. I think it’s 1940s chic, maybe? You can’t quite see all the beautiful details of it in my pictures, such as the accordian like pleating down the front and all the little buttons. I need a better camera. Any suggestions out there?

My jewelry is vintage; I love vintage jewelry so much! One is a black orb on a gold chain. On the bottom is a clock! I have several clock-necklaces; it’s sort of a mini-obession.

The other necklace is a beautiful 1930s bakelite piece, with a brass chain detail.
