Genius next door

So yea….

Didn’t really do anything or go anywhere today, but decided to see how some of my old stuff (tee shirt – supposedly says “genius”) mixed with my new stuff (skirt). I thought it might look ok, but I’m surprised at how much I’ve fallen in love with this look…..it’s just so cozy, laid-back, and….me. I couldn’t get a great photo, but I love the pleating across the front of the skirt. I want more.

The only problem is not really having any shoes to go with it. All I have is this pair of flat brown suede boots and it just doesn’t mix well. I need a black version of them.

Freshly painted nails there, too. I finally clipped/gnawed them down to a good length so that polish doesn’t make them look horribly fake. I really like the color too, just some old stuff I found about the house. It’s called ‘Pearly Grape,’ which is quite fitting.
