I think the ankle boots look great. Thicker strapped shoes and high bulky heals (sometimes with ankle cuffs) seem to be in right now, and these boots aren't much different. I've liked every outfit you've posted on here.

I've been wearing the tanks/tees under tube dresses also, makes it a little more interesting, and I say yes to the bare leg ankle boot debate! It'll transition nicely to fall. bare now, then start wearing leggings or socks.

i think ankle boots look fine with bare legs, esp when the dress is short enough. i think it's a good balance. also, i have this lace top that would go so well with that aa dress. now i just have to get the aa dress...
