I to am half russian and we call my grandmother Baba too! Haha I like fashionxk8 was always under the impression that a babooshka is a head scarf. My mother always told me that most elderly russian women would were scarves wrapped around their heads... So that's were the link came from. I don't know if that's true or not, that's just what my Ma says hahah

Wow!!!! So you speak Russian then? Your mama taught you? Oh i hope so because i (like i said in my previous blog) think the best written language is arabic and best spoken is Russian! The way they say the words-its amazing! When im out sometimes i listen to these kids speak Russian and its almost music in my ear. simples word like "mama i papa" sounds so good!!! Yes, the babas wear scarves! =)

omg! I'm part Russian and Baba was what we called my great grandma! And I always knew babooshka to be sort of like a head scarf, that's how my Russian grandma used it anyway. Love this outfit, the pants are totally hot! :)
