during the start of this schoolyear, i was having money problems to pay off my tuition fees and buy my books (i wasn’t able to get a summer job!). i resorted to spending almost half of my current savings just so i can continue with my last semester. i think tables are starting to turn around now as i have been getting “funding” from some great sources.
I think it all started with me, getting the chic reward! hahaha! Yeah, the luck started here in Chictopia! How awesome is that?
I know I told you about my part time job as a grader for Managerial Accounting. When I checked my emails just awhile ago, I received another job offer as a grader for a different subject, Consumer Behaviour (basically, one of my Marketing majors). I’m taking this as well, since the Accounting one doesn’t take much of my time. So yey for that!
Since I also opt out for my university’s Health insurance plan (my father has his own that can support me), they deducted some fees from my tuition and I’ll be getting some money back! YAY!
Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that I had literally 5 seconds of air time in a local news show. hahahaha! I donated some clothes for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy back home and GlobalTV Winnipeg was in the area filming some news stuff. They asked me if they can talk to me about the situation, so I gladly accepted the offer. hahaha!
Newest things in my closet:
(1) Purple Dress $6 from Old Navy
(2) Denim Tights $5 from Garage (I know, Canadians out there! Who would have thought?!)
(3) Boots from Sirens (which, you guys, are so acquainted with nowadays)
