Was going out to play in the rain today with my brother and sister and thought why not? Why not have fun with it?
Hence the pink pearls and glamorous rain boots.
I swear, they are not my style in the slightest, but when I was interning, I found them in storage. They remained there for eight months and no one claimed them, and they happened to be in my size. So one day I put them on and out I go into the lovely organic shower and just brought them home with me to put them to use. I’ve received enough compliments now that I don’t only wear them for convenience. And I ADORE rain. And my black trench coat. I also like how I left out color and let the boots speak for themselves. Tomorrow is my sixteenth birthday, so of course I’ll have to find something special to wear. And of course there will be many pictures (and trust me, my dad—and the rest of my clan—never hesitate when I offer to let them use my Nikon D40. Would you?). So I will have another post up soon. I am so addicted already. SO ADDICTED.
