Ok, we’ve already run out of ideas for a photo shoot location within our apartment. And my sweet bf cum photographer is already starting to get tired of shooting indoors. So yesterday, we decided to go out. I wanted somewhere with greenery, which is by the way very rare in Dubai. Mostly you would only see here buildings, skyscrapers, and more buildings. And yeah, deserts.
We went to Dubai Creek Park for this shooting. My bf wanted to do it during sunset as it gives the best lights on the photos. We were very lucky because as soon as we bought the tickets and got in, the guy closed the counter and the gate then left. We forgot that they have a short break for the Iftar (the breaking of the fast during Ramadan). If we were a minute late, we would have waited outside the gate for an hour and missed the sunset. And surprisingly, no one else was in the park, yay! (except for a family of 3 with a kid running around without his pants on!)
About my outfit:
Denim Dress – I bought this on impulse from Stradivarius. I was waiting for my bf to pick me up from the mall and decided to do some window shopping for a while. I saw this dress on a small corner of sale items and tried it on (but I wasn’t planning to buy it). While I was inside the dressing room, he called to say he’s 5mins away. I kinda liked the dress and I thought it was a good deal for $20. So I just bought it without thinking.
Black Vest – Again, this is a product of impulse buying. It was on sale for $10. I saw this on my way out of Forever 21. Tried it on for a second. Bf approved. Went straight to the counter. :))
Stripe Necktie – This is actually a belt which was a part of the trousers my bf bought from Zara. He didn’t like it, he thought it’s too gay. So now it’s mine.
Denim flat shoes – I hated this a lot when I first wore it. And for a while I regretted that I bought it. The material was too hard, it gave me blisters on my feet. But since I thought it looked good on me, I continued wearing it which made the material softer as I use it. Now it’s one of my comfiest pair.
