I used to work at a restaurant that was right on the beach, next to a long pier that stretched out into the water. It was tradition that if you had decided to leave the restaurant and move on, on your last day you had to jump off the end of the pier. I somehow managed to escape the task when I left, but for some reason this outfit reminds me of it. The top is slightly nautical and then when paired with the rebellious, boyfriend jeans and the untied, flat booties, she looks like she would go running off the end of a pier on a warm summer evening without a moment of hesitation. Cannonball!
