Today in English class (British Lit), we made lists of, among other things, famous British people and famous British fictional characters. Somehow, James Bond made it onto the “real” list. Who the hell thinks James Bond is a real person?
(Also on that list: “Jane Austin”, “Shakespere”, and “Mr. Beans”.)
