Curls and Lace

So, this is my first photo on Chictopia. I adore this site the moment I browsed through it. There are endless people with such amazing and wonderful style. I hope to contribute to this addicting craze.

I made this dress myself from $1.50 a yard fabric from Walmart. Call me the queen of cheap. I bargain shop like no other. =] Anyway, I do not know how to make clothes; with this dress I sewed from scratch and did not measure out anything. Everything I did with this dress was from pure luck of estimations. Haha. I went with what I thought looked good. The back of this dress has an open draped back. I will try to get a photo up soon.

I just found those floral lace tights hidden in my closet that I bought from JcPennys about a year ago for $1.99. I am absolutely in love with them. I cannot believe I never wore them before. They have become my new obsession.

Anyhow, I hope to add more to my blog in the days to come.
