Tutufied and loving it.
I am resurrecting my role as the “Queen of Tutus” with this outfit- candy cane and gummy bears combined with a biker chick Dynasty edge.
As I said in my first entry, being a living, breathing and talking mannequin for your brand is important. If your pieces don’t look good on you, who else will it flatter, right? Thus all the frou frou and frill. Call it festive dressing… I call it frock star.
I wore this to compliment our VERY dollhouse-inspired Victorian girly booth at the Rockwell urban Bazaar. All things Glitterati, I needed to look the part to stay in the spot the whole day. The blazer is still unreleased (it’ll be available SOOOON) and it is an homage to Christophe Decarnin’s love affair with padded shoulders. To emphasize the chic shoulder shape, we added 2 metallic zippers for either sides and it instantly draws attention to that part. We also added a metallic zipper in the front which serves as a closure for the blazer.
Since the jacket is super edgy, I toned down the edge with a frou frou tulle skirt and finished off with a studded Carrie-inspired belt from Grommet by Glitterati. I also wore my studded Zara shoes I recently bought for the first time. My feet shrunk from a 7 1/2- 8 and I am now a 6 1/2 for shoes. It’s a magical pair with silver hard rock studs that scream glam. Unfortunately, it didn’t do my feet good and I have blisters to prove it!
Standing in heels for 12 hours is apparently dangerous.
I am abstaining from shoes as of now and I am feeling so guilty for getting 10 pairs all in one week. It’s so sad and I so need to stop. Any tips?
