I know I’m a little late on this back to school thing, but I thought I would give it a try.
To me, an ideal back to school would be comfortable and stylish. And even though I love my four/five inch heels (and admittedly I do wear those to school on a consistent basis), the only thing worse than being uncomfortable is looking like you tried to hard.
Heres a simple look, with key pieces. The ubiquitous leather jacket from H&M will protect you from the harshest of ACs while you’re rotting away in your economics class, to the coldest of winds while waiting for your bus/asshole late friend. The even more ubiquitous Tory Burch reva flats will help you travel across your school’s obnoxiously large campus as you try to make it to your next class in under 5 minutes flat.
The red jbrands (that I bought at a sample sale in soho for $30) help prevent this look from being too drab, and provides a pop of color. Because I have been blessed with the lack of height, I like to wear my jeans tucked into my flats. It creates a longer line, and makes me think that I look taller than I really am.
Because I’m more of a huge-ass binder girl that I prefer to carry in my arms, I usually prefer to bring a smaller bag to school. The vintage chanel will serve the honor of carrying my graphing calculator, cell phone, pencils and various other knick knacks.
Add beret and accessories to taste, and voila, my back to school look.
ps. omg shes wearing jeans.
