This morning me and my boyfriend out for breakfast, to start our one day this week we had off together. We went to cora’s where i had a a banana-strawberry and chocolate crepe, and a bowl of fruit on the side. MMMMM
Then we went to go on a hike around the coastline of st johns and the Atlantic ocean. We got to the beginning of the trail and had to turn around. Hurricane Bill is here now, so just 12 hours ago it was getting pretttty windy. The kind of windy where you can lean forward and not fall.
So after that fail, we drove downtown and went to a few vintage boutiques. No luck, so then we went to the town flea market. where, success, i found the two billy joel records i have been looking for for years! I also found a set of vintage care bear glasses, and a necklace that i bought for my mom for christmas.
Then we went to the theatre to see Inglorious Bastards. It was an excellent movie, and i have to say, for being a gory-comedy war movie, the females in it had some pretty fabulous outfits on.
After the movie, (yes we had an event filled day) the rain from the beginning of the hurricane started. with loads of thunder and lightening !! We jumped in the car and went to a great spot to watch the storm. It was so nice, being alone in the storm, just me and him.
We came home then, after the lightening started to die down a bit, and then i rushed on chictopia to tell you all about my day. It’s still raining like crazy out, the major park of the storm is supposed to hit us tonight (ohno)
