Are you selling these? If not.... why?! You are quite talented! I love the head pieces too!

love this idea; I feel like my artistic ability would not result in anything looking as good as what you have made however!

Trashion Vintage Tie Collar

StumbleStumble it!

I spotted this woman wearing a dress made from gents ties when I was out clubbing once & I just couldn’t get it out of my head.
For months I was hoarding vintages ties, picking them up from boot sales & charity shops whenever I spotted a quirky one.
I had this vision of the dress that I’d seen but no pattern to go by, so I googled “how to make a dress from neckties”.
That’s how I came across the fabulous Finnish trashionista blogger Outi Pyy aka Outsapop.

I’m a devoted follower of her blog ever since, she rocks my world!
In her blog she actually offers up some really cracking trashions tutorials & I based my design on her tie feathers tutorial.
I’ve made a few of these now & they can be attached to just about any garment i.e. dresses, T-shirts, tops, worn as a headdress or as a stand alone collar if you’re wearing a bandeau dress.
It’s not quite as magnificent as that dress that I saw cause that was more like a ballgown, floor length frock type thing but these are definitely a lot more versatile & a lot less sweat to make!
